Sodom and Gemorra Empty
PostSubject: Sodom and Gemorra   Sodom and Gemorra EmptySat Apr 05, 2008 5:01 pm

I was looking at some pictures of the Dead Sea and got to thinking that this would be a perfect place to cover up the remains of a Nuclear holocaust. It got me to thinking about the minerals that it contains and how they might fit into a scenario that would use these to cleanse the area, so the remaining people alive on earth ( including Abraham who was in sight of this), from dying from this blast.

Fire and Brimstone

What exactly is that?

Fire could be from Lightening, this would be electrical fire. Or there could have been a meteror that landed like the one in Siberia. But I think it was much more than that.

Some minerals found in the dead sea are various forms of choloride ( salts) as well as:

Quote :
The Dead Sea contains 21 minerals including Sodium, Magnesium, Calcium,
Bromine, Bitumen and Potassium. Twelve of these are found in no other sea or
ocean

Note there is Bitumen in there? could this be left over from the
'blast'? It is highly flammable. It can be from a natural source or
man made. In this case it would have to occur naturally.

But it apparently is not just indiginous to the Dead Sea area.

Quote :

Mixture
of tarlike hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. Black or brown, it
varies from viscous to solid; the solid form is usually called asphalt.
Bitumen occurs in nearly every part of the world and in nearly the
whole range of geologic strata.

So if the solid form is asphalt, then the viscous variety would be
what in the bible is described as pitch? This is what Noah used for the
ark. Used to waterproof it, just as it is used today.
